We love bathtubs, like in this family bathroom from one of our Williamstown projects.
They’re not for everyone and not right for every project, but nothing says luxury quite like a freestanding bath.

There are only a few things we love more than a feature stair … but when they have a function beyond carrying people from one level to do another they’re even better!
This one in Williamstown also serves a bench seating and contains the kid’s reading nook all whilst appearing to hang from the ceiling.

The local authority is known to have a very conservative approach to conforming with their planning policies. We were able to negotiate with them that successful heritage additions don’t need to be copies or be apologetic.
We are very proud that we were able to create a piece of quality architecture that stands on its own right but also addresses all the heritage guideline points, without the need to visit VCAT.

Featured in @homebeautiful our Osborne project is a strikingly contemporary addition to a heritage home located in Williamstown. Town planning permits were successfully negotiated without the need to front at VCAT.

Contemporary extensions to traditional homes are our jam, it’s one of our favourite project types. Living and working in Williamstown ourselves, we understand just how special it is and love to help local families create architectural magic.

Residential architecture doesn’t always have to be serious, reflecting the circles of the kid’s reading nook inside, outside we created custom built large format circular paving pads.

Dig Design looks to create spaces that find the balance between emphasising space whilst maintaining a sense of scale and intimacy. Spaces where families can come together for shared experiences and spaces where moments of solitude and reflection can be found.
